Gaul (France) is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls
still hold out against the invaders. The hero of the adventures is Asterix - a shrewd, cunning little warrior
who takes a magic potion to give him superhuman strength. Always at his side is his best friend, Obelix, who
fell into a pot of the magic potion when he was a baby and has permanent superhuman strength. And where ever
Obelix goes, so to does his dog Dogmatix.
